Privacy Policy

Future Proof Co. ("I", "me") is a Calgary, Alberta consultancy. This policy explains what personal information is collected through futureproofco.ca, why, and how it is handled. It is written to comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What is collected

This site does not use advertising trackers and does not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing.

How it is used

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use it — pages visited, approximate region, and device type. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes this data under Google's privacy policy; data may be stored outside Canada. It is not used for advertising, and no names or email addresses are sent to Analytics. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Service providers

This site runs on Netlify (hosting and form processing). Scheduling uses Cal.com and contact forms use Tally. Each processes data under its own privacy policy: Netlify, Cal.com, Tally. Some of these providers may store data outside Canada.

Client information

Information shared during consulting engagements is treated as confidential, is never used to train public AI models, and is governed by the engagement agreement, which takes precedence over this policy where they differ.

Retention, access, and removal

Information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above. You can ask what information I hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion at any time — email hello@futureproofco.ca and it will be actioned promptly. Every email sent includes a way to opt out, per Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
