Privacy Policy

Future Proof Co. ("I", "me") is a Calgary, Alberta consultancy. This policy explains what personal information is collected through futureproofco.ca, why, and how it is handled. It is written to comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What is collected
- Email address — when you request the free guide through the form on this site. Nothing else is required.
- Booking details — if you book a call, scheduling is handled by Cal.com, which collects your name, email, and any notes you choose to add.
- Messages — if you send a message, the form is handled by Tally and includes whatever you choose to share.
This site does not use advertising trackers and does not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing.
How it is used
- To send you the guide you requested — one email, no drip sequences.
- To respond to your message or prepare for a call you booked.
- To operate the business (e.g., following up on an inquiry you started).
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use it — pages visited, approximate region, and device type. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes this data under Google's privacy policy; data may be stored outside Canada. It is not used for advertising, and no names or email addresses are sent to Analytics. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Service providers
This site runs on Netlify (hosting and form processing). Scheduling uses Cal.com and contact forms use Tally. Each processes data under its own privacy policy: Netlify, Cal.com, Tally. Some of these providers may store data outside Canada.
Client information
Information shared during consulting engagements is treated as confidential, is never used to train public AI models, and is governed by the engagement agreement, which takes precedence over this policy where they differ.
Retention, access, and removal
Information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above. You can ask what information I hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion at any time — email hello@futureproofco.ca and it will be actioned promptly. Every email sent includes a way to opt out, per Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
